GROOMING STANDARDS

Your personal appearance directly affects the way guests feel about the quality of food and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Because of this, even during the application process of a potential new team member, we need to make sure you clearly understand our expectations if you are offered a position at The Original Geno’s.

• Fingernails clean and neatly trimmed – excessively long fingernails are not allowed
• No fingernail polish or artificial fingernails
• No heavily scented perfumes or colognes
• No visible hickeys or body piercing (including tongue piercing).
• Hair color and make-up should be tasteful (natural in appearance) and in moderation
• Gum chewing is not allowed
• We do not support visible tattoos; however there may be times when a visible tattoo is acceptable.
• Hair longer than collar length needs to be restrained, and hats are to be worn at all times while working.
• Jewelry is limited to food safety reasons. You may wear one ring, one stud earring in each ear. No other jewelry is allowed, including wrist watch.
• For each scheduled shift, all team members should arrive to work in a clean and unwrinkled The Original Geno's approved uniform, including approved non-skid shoes.

I certify that the information provided by me for the purpose of employment is true and complete to the best of my knowledge. I understand that if I am employed, any false statements or omissions will be considered cause for dismissal. The Original Geno’s is hereby authorized to conduct any verification of my personal, employment , education, credit and motor vehicle records, and to receive any information from the criminal justice agency in any state. I authorize listed previous employment and any other information they many have, personal or otherwise. I release all such parties from any liability that my allegedly arise from furnishing such information to The Original Geno’s including, but not limited to, any liability for defamation or invasion of privacy.

If I am offered employment, I understand that such an offer will be conditioned upon satisfactory results of a background investigation. If my application is accepted for employment, I understand that the first ninety (90) days is an introductory period and I understand that my employment and compensations can be terminated, which or without cause or notice, at any time, regardless of the successful completion of my probationary period, at the option of either The Original Geno’s or myself. I understand that no leader or other representative of The Original Geno's other than the president of the company has any authority to enter into any agreement for employment for any specified period of time, or to make any agreement contrary to the foregoing.
